How to Play TileMan.io
Gameplay in TileMan.io is relatively simple, but the strategy is where the real challenge lies. Positioned at the center of a grid board, your task is to expand your territory by acquiring more and more tiles. To achieve this, maneuver using your mousepad or the WASD keys to move left, right, up, and down. Sounds easy enough, right? The tricky part is to expand your territory without being cut off by other players in the game. Getting cut off happens when your path is intercepted. Beware, as you can accidentally block your own path and lose the game. While staying within your territory offers protection, it limits your expansion capabilities.
Territory is established when you form a complete square by converting blocks—these enclosed blocks will change to your color upon closure. If you push too far and expand too quickly, you might find yourself vulnerable and easily targeted by an opponent.
Avoid your rivals or strategize to trap them within your squares, causing them to collide with you. Patience and precision are key; don't charge in guns blazing! Are you up for the challenge of dominating the TileMan arena?

Classic game

Similar to the classic setup, this mode poses significantly higher challenges, requiring either extreme caution or embracing high risks. The choice is yours.
No Kills
This mode mirrors the classic style, but you won't be eliminated by rivals cutting your path. Instead, losing your path momentarily provides a few seconds to return to safety. Stray too far and you won't make it back in time, resulting in a game over.
Rats
Expect opponents at every turn in this intense game. Keep your captures close to your home base.
Arena
Arena gameplay resembles a "practice space," void of opponents and offering around 1500 squares to conquer. While it may sound simple, it's easy to become overconfident and slip up.
